EU and reorganisation costs revealed

by isleofman.com 9th March 2011

The Manx government plans to spend ?250,000 on representation in the European Union during the coming year.

Treasury Minister Anne Craine gave the figure in response to a question for written answer from Onchan MHK Peter Karran.

In the House of Keys yesterday (Tuesday), Mr Karran also asked how much the government would spend on its restructuring in the next financial year.

In response, Mrs Craine said the restructuring was complete so there would be no extra costs in the 2011-2012 financial year.

She confirmed the reorganisation of departments had cost under ?95,000.
