DOUBLE BRIT Award winning artist Tinie Tempah will headline the Saturday night at this year's Manx Telecom Bay Festival.
The 22 year old is one of the hottest male solo performers in the country after winning Best British Breakthrough Act and Best British Single at this year's BRIT Awards.
Last year he had huge chart success with singles including Pass Out, Frisky, Written in the Stars and Miami 2 Ibiza. His debut album Disc-Overy went to number one and is still in the UK top 10 album chart.
Tinie will headline on Saturday, June 18, and will be joined by Tinchy Stryder and Radio One DJ Scott Mills.
Tinchy Stryder, 24, has also enjoyed a string of number one hits including Take Me Back, Number 1 and Never Leave You. He has also had two hit albums Catch 22 and Third Strike.
The Saturday Night show, dubbed DanceFest, will start with a two hour set from Ministry of Sound with Tara McDonald as the dance guest vocalist.
This will be followed by two hours of Radio One DJ Scott Mills who will play his floor fillers collection.
Festival promoter Jamie Irving said: "There’s no one hotter that Tinie right now so I am very, very pleased we've been able to secure him for the festival. With Tinie, Tinchy, Scott Mills and Ministry of Sound, Saturday, 18 June, will be the party of all parties that the Island's young (and not so young) music fans will never forget.
"Tickets are only £45 to see all these artists and there are no booking fees - so not only a memorable night but also memorable value."
The seats will be removed from the Valhalla Tent on the Saturday night and there will also be angle-grinding routines, fire eating, stilt walkers and high wire artists.
Tickets for the Saturday night event go on sale at 8am on Saturday, March 12. For more information visit www.bayfestival.im.
