A member of the House of Keys says continued expansion by the Isle of Man Post Office into the private sector, could threaten established Manx stationery businesses.
It's emerged the Post Office is looking to supply stationery products to the Manx government, a move which North Douglas MHK John Houghton says could be the final nail in the coffin for local suppliers.
Mr Houghton, who raised the issue in the House of Keys yesterday (Tuesday) says government should give some of its business to small traders:
