THE latest squash results from the A league:


Gamers (119) v Motorvation (99); MAS (120) v Edgewater A (130); Stone Art (133) v Jelly Beans (87)

 

Wins for Ashley Sykes and Phil Challenger, over Mike Hayler and Pete Sharples, helped lift Gamers to the top of the A League, while Travis Friend's win over Mike Hebden pushed Motorvation up to third.

 

In a high scoring match MAS moved up to second in the table, despite losing to Edgewater A.

 

Richard Corlett, for the visitors, just failed to take a game off Malcolm Levy, losing two games on the deciding point.

 

Dave Hedley needed five games to beat Pete Ferguson while Colin Hanbidge was run close in beating Chris Cave 3-0.

 

Towards the bottom of the table Stone Art had a good win over Jelly Beans thanks to wins for Allister Crossley and Les Callow.

 

Lyndon Cheetham took a game off John Knight and lost two on the deciding point to give his side near maximum points.
