The chairman of the Boundary Review Committee says the ongoing examination of the size and number of voters in House of Keys constituencies has already attracted a broad range of opinions.
The committee was appointed by the chief minister in December and the period for public consultation has been extended to the end of this month.
Sally Bolton says the main issue is whether the division of seats in the Keys should be based on the average number of voters per member, or more community based criteria.
There have been big changes in population since the last review, which has led to a great divergence from one constituency to another in the member-voter ratio. The average change over the 15 constituencies is 17.5 per cent.

Chairman of the previous Boundary Review committee Robert Quayle says he and his colleagues made some specific recommendations, including a mandatory review of the boundaries every ten years.
