MARSH IoM will run three risk management training courses at the end of this month.
The half-day courses will be held at Rose House, Circular Road, Douglas.
On Tuesday, March 29 there is an introduction to business continuity management, on Wednesday, March 30 there is a course on developing a crisis management plan and on Thursday, March 31 there is an introduction to strategic risk management and risk registers.
Head of Marsh's insurance broking operations in the Island Sarah Hewitt said: "We were delighted with the response from businesses for last year's courses, and we've had another great take-up for this month.
"However, we do still have a few places available on each course, but they are filling up quickly."
An introduction to business continuity management looks at recognising and measuring significant threats to business and developing a flexible BCM programme to help businesses respond to any unplanned event.
Developing a crisis management plan looks at what may constitute a crisis for a business - be it a volcanic eruption, pandemic flu or severe weather - the role of the crisis management team and what a business may include in a crisis management plan to ensure an effective response.
An introduction to strategic risk management covers risk identification and assessment, risk registers and action plans and reporting structures and audit procedures.
