Top three all win in hockey Premier League

The leading sides in the Wi Manx mixed Hockey Premier League all won on Saturday to cement their title aspirations.

Valkyrs A were 6-1 winners over Bacchas B.

After the shock of going behind, Steven Lowe (two), Ollie Webster (two), Amy Speed and Andrea Kneen grabbed the goals to secure victory.

Goals from Karl Moore, Sharron Pope and Richard Le Page fired Bacchas A to a 3-0 victory over battling Valkyrs B, while Vikings A were pushed hard by Ramsey but ran out 3-2 winners, courtesy of strikes from Dave Millward, Andy Harding and Steven Crowe.

Matt Robertson and James Aitcheson were on target for the northerners.

Vikings B netted their first point of the season in a 3-3 draw with Celts.

Mark Dougherty and Ash Dougal (two) were their marksmen with Hannah Leece, Kerry Kelly and Donald Stewart finding the net for Celts.
