Blow for Colby promotion bid

Colby’s promotion hopes suffered a major blow on Saturday.

Barry English and Mark Rees fired Pulrose to a 2-1 victory over the southerners at Groves Road in JCK Division Two.

A Lee Ramsden hat-trick and one from Geoff Murphy secured Braddan edged out the Police in an exciting seven goal contest.

There was also a hat-trick at Crosby as Marown saw off Malew 7-1.

Richard Mulhearn was the star of the show and was joined on the scoresheet by Sean Doyle (two), Juan Killip and Gary Thomas.

Liam Cannon and Adam Menton were on target and there was also an own goal as Foxdale were 3-2 winners over Onchan, whose scorers were Rob Callow and Gary Mills.
