Public help police recover stolen canoe

MEMBERS of the public have assisted in the recovery af a stolen canoe which was found in good condition today.

 

Officers from Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team reported this afternoon that the stolen canoe has now been recovered.

 

The statement said, “The police would like to thank those who provided information to assist police in the recovery of the canoe.”

 

Police are still investigating this theft and wish to speak to anyone who may have information as to who may have taken the large green canoe which was stolen some time overnight between Thursday March 3 and the early hours of Friday March 4 in the area of Saddlestone, Douglas. 

 

The canoe is a substantial size measuring approximately 11 feet in length and is a considerable weight, meaning that a vehicle would have been used.
