Horse Ploughing Championships out west

The Isle of Man Horse Ploughing Championships are taking place today (Saturday) at Ballagyr Lane, off Ramsey Road just outside Peel.

As well as the horses there are classes for tractors, and refreshments are available throughout the day in a marquee staffed by the ladies of the Cronk y Voddy Ploughing Society.

There will be a prize presentation, slide show and buffet supper in the clubroom at Cronk y Voddy at 7.45pm.

The event is organised by the Cronk y Voddy Ploughing Society and are all are welcome.

The championships run from 10.30am to 3.15pm.
