Could the Isle of Man get a new Bank Holiday if plans go ahead in the United Kingdom to get rid of May Day?
The UK government is suggesting it could celebrate St George's Day in England and St David's Day in Wales in order to spread holidays throughout the year to benefit tourism.
Manx language expert Dr Brian Stowell says if the Isle of Man followed suit, an obvious day to celebrate would be the anniversary of the death of Illiam Dhone, on January 2.
However, he says there is good reason why we couldn't mark the day St Maughold, our patron saint, arrived on the Island:
