Manx bookworms can get their hands on free reading material this evening (Saturday) as part of an ambitious literature celebration.
World Book Night is the largest give-away of its type ever attempted.
A million books will be handed out by passionate readers across the United Kingdom, the Irish Republic and the Isle of Man.
The Manx Poetry Society is marking the occasion with an event at the Henry Bloom Noble Library in Victoria Street, Douglas.
