Hill wins Pontins Title

14 year-old Isle of Man snooker player Darryl Hill has won a title at the biggest international competition for junior players.

He took the Pontins under-15 Star of the Future crown at the tournament at Prestatyn in Wales.

Darryl played seven matches and won them all without losing a single frame.

He also knocked in breaks of 88 and 86 - the two highest recorded at the event.

As a result, Darryl has been awarded a ?2,000 sponsorship from Pontins.

He also dedicated his first major title to his late coach Mel Quine.
