by isleofman.com 2nd March 2011

A service at St Mary’s Church today (Thursday) will celebrate the life of a 44 year-old Douglas man.

Carl Mark Green, a baggage handler at Ronaldsway Airport, died outside his home in Hillside Avenue last month.

He was described by his family as 'a big cuddly teddy bear of a man, who lit up a room'.

His funeral will be held at 1.30pm followed by private cremation.

A 19 year-old Douglas man has been remanded in custody, accused of Mr Green’s manslaughter.
