Copper wire stolen from business park

POLICE are investigating after a drum of green and yellow coated copper wire was stolen on Friday.

 

The wire was stolen from a wagon parked at the Manx Electricity Authority at the Isle of Man Business Park in Braddan at around 10.30pm.

 

The wire is coated in green and yellow plastic and is 100 metres long by 70mm in diameter and was still rolled on to its storage drum.

 

Anyone who has information on the theft or who was in the area at the time is asked to contact PC Anthony Lawler at Onchan Police Station on 01624 675190.
