POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision in Castletown.
The incident happened at around 7.40pm last night and involved a blue scooter, being driven by a 48 year old male, and a 63 year old pedestrian. Both men were from the south of the Island.
The pedestrian was taken to Noble's Hospital with serious injuries.
Police shut the A5 Victoria Road, near to The Sidings Pub, for three and a half hours while they conducted enquiriies.
