A Douglas woman says she's embarrassed by the way the House of Keys has dealt with the issue of breastfeeding.
Stephanie Kelsey says the Isle of Man is going to get lots of negative publicity for the way it has handled legislation which would make it illegal to stop a woman feeding in public.
Rushen MHK Juan Watterson brought forward a private members bill, which has now been sent to committee because of concerns about criminalising innocent people.
But Mrs Kelsey believes the legislation has been jumped on by politicians with their own agenda.
She's set up a Facebook page calling on people to support the breastfeeding bill and so far there are more than 165 members.
Mrs Kelsey says the law would not only protect women, it would also protect business owners.
