Weekend weather - spring is in the air!

by isleofman.com 25th February 2011

AFTER last weekend’s deluge, the chances of a half-decent weekend’s weather look pretty good, according to the Ronaldsway Met Office forecast.

There will be - for the first time in ages - some sunshine on both Saturday and Sunday, but there’s the warning of a few showers too.

So it could be an opportunity for some gardening, although there has been so much water in this last two weeks the ground is bound to be pretty sodden under-foot.

There are no weather warnings for shipping but it might be another good weekend for seeing the spectacular kitesurfers - spotted last week in Douglas Bay - with winds expected to be around force 4 or 5.

If you take any interesting pictures over the weekend we will be happy to publish the best. Send to newsroom@isleofman.com
