Local musician to launch new "eclectic mix" album

MUSICIAN Simon Campbell will launch his new album at the Centenary Centre in Peel next month.

 

ThirtySix is Simon's first solo album in 36 years and is described as "not blues, not rock, it's not folk – it is an eclectic mix that will take your on his very personal musical journey."

 

Simon will perform the album in full and will be accompanied by the session musicians Very Very Bad Men and local singer Christy DeHaven will also perform.

 

Tickets for the event, which takes place on Saturday, March 26, cost £10 and are available from Celtic Gold in Peel, Peter Norris Music in Douglas, Shakti Man in Ramsey and Thompson Travel in Port Erin.

 

Doors open at 7.15pm. The event will take place between 8pm and 10.30pm. For more information log on to www.simoncampbell.com.
