A TT fan who rates the Isle of Man as her number one holiday destination has won a trip to the Manx Grand Prix later this year.
Lin Deeley, from Northamptonshire, was chosen as the winner of the Legends of Suzuki competition organised by Manx National Heritage and the Steam Packet Company.
Her name was chosen from over 1,000 entries submitted at the Legends of Suzuki exhibition which was held at the Manx Museum.
The exhibition ran from May until September and charted 50 years of success for the Japanese firm at the Isle of Man TT races and featured motorbikes, film footage, leathers and memorabilia.
Lynsey Radcliffe, communications manager at Manx National Heritage, said: "Lin and her husband have been family members of the Friends of Manx National Heritage since 1979 and have been visiting the Isle of Man for many years. We are thrilled that such a great supporter has won the competition prize."
David Findlay, director of marketing and communications at the Steam Packet Company, said: "The Steam Packet Company has been involved with motorsport on the Island for many years and we were delighted to support the Manx National Heritage Manx Grand Prix competition. Congratulations to Lin, we look forward to welcoming her onboard for this year's Manx Grand Prix."
A new exhibition, Mountain Milestones, which celebrates the centenary of the Mountain Course will open on May 28 at the House of Manannan in Peel. Admission is free of charge.
