90 PROPERTIES in Ballasalla are without gas as a result of accidental damage to the medium pressure LPG supply.
The properties affected are in Clagh Vane and in the southern part of Douglas Road.
Robert Gardner, Manx Gas engineering manager, said: "A team of engineers has been dispatched and have isolated and made safe the gas escape.
"We will be making safe all properties repairing the damaged main and then beginning the process of restoring supplies to all affected customers. We are hopeful that we will be able to restore supplies this evening."
