Island resident Jonathan Rea is now optimistic he will be fit for this weekend's opening round of the World Superbike Championship at Phillip Island in Australia.
He was forced to throw himself off his Castrol Honda when an oil leak led to it catching fire when doing 130mph in testing at the circuit yesterday.
Scans in hospital have show no fractures but he did dislocate his ring finger on his left hand.
The biggest concern was over his left wrist which he fractured in a spill last season.
There is a small crack in his collarbone but Rea believes that is from a previous injury.
Rea will now have to see if he is able to keep the swelling down and be able to take part in the first official practice session on Friday.
Rea was third quickest after the two-day test behind the Ducati pair Checa and Guintoli.
Fellow Isle of Man resident James Toseland on his BMW was further down the timing charts in 15th place.
