Paint stripper poured over car in Peel

A CAR in Peel has had paint stripper poured onto its bodywork in an act of criminal damage.

 

Police are investigating after the damage was caused sometime between 5pm on Sunday and 8am on Monday in Peveril Avenue.

 

The car, a blue Diahatsu Sportrak, was parked on its owner's driveway at the time of the incident and damage has been caused to all panels.

 

Anyone who saw or heard anyone acting suspiciously in the area is asked to contact PC Leanne Walsh at Peel Police Station on 01624 631212.
