TWO Island residents got special Valentine's Day suprises this year.

Nicky O'Hara won a £250 voucher for Wilkins the Jewellers following a prize draw held at The Claremont Hotel.

The hotel ran a Romance on the Coast Valentine's special and Nicky won the voucher while dining at Coast Restaurant with her partner Justin MacMillan.

Kirsty McCauley was the lucky winner of a new mobile phone from Manx Telecom.

She won a pink Sony Ericsson x10 Mini Pro after sending in a romantic photograph of her and her boyfriend Gregg O'Neill.

The photograph was taken in a bar in Newcastle-upon-Tyne which had a still image on the wall of a couple in an old movie which Kirsty and Gregg recreated.  

Kirsty said: "We had the photo framed and when my dad heard about the Manx Telecom and 3FM Valentine's Day competition he suggested we send the photo in."
