New challenge for Island's Bishop

THE Island's Bishop has been appointed as the new patron of Age Concern Isle of Man.
 
Bishop Robert Paterson will succeed Lady Haddacks whose time in the position ends on March 31.
 
He will take up his position on April 1 and will quite literally be leaping into the role by taking part in a charity abseil at the Venture Centre in aid of Age Concern on April 2.
