POLICE are appealing for a motorist who hit a woman in Douglas to come forward.
A 58 year old woman who was attempting to cross Circular Road on Friday, February 11, was hit by a silver saloon car at around 5.35pm.
The male driver did stop at the scene to see if the woman was ok. While she appeared fine at the time it has now been established that she suffered heavy bruising and swelling as a result of the collision.
Police would like to speak to the driver, who is described as approximately 30 years old, tall, slim with dark hair and wearing glasses, dark clothing and dark shoes, for recording purposes.
