Minister dismisses Guernsey report

by isleofman.com 21st February 2011

The Treasury Minister has dismissed a report which suggests the Isle of Man will eventually have to end its zero-10 tax regime.

Last week, the Manx government announced it will scrap a key aspect of the system - the Attribution Regime for Individuals - or ARI – from April next year.

However, a report in Guernsey suggests that may not be enough and Zero Ten could still be seen as a harmful tax regime.

Anne Craine says there’s much spin in the article.
