Unions say they are pleased with the turnout this morning of postal workers to a meeting in Douglas.
As they await their ballot papers - which have been delayed until tomorrow - 202 of the 272 Communications Workers Union members heard representative Terry Pullinger state the union's case.
The CWU say they want their case to go to arbitration.
The Post Office's management says, due to a public sector pay freeze, their hands are tied.
