TV boat challenge for Guy

Popular TT rider Guy Martin is set to star in a prime time series on BBC One television.

His unique personality and passion for tinkering with anything mechanical was noticed by North One who film the world famous Isle of Man road races.

They signed him up to make a six part series called 'The Boat that Guy Built' which will start on Wednesday, March 2, at 7.30pm.

Guy and his best mate Mark Davies will be shown attempting to fit out a narrow boat using only British innovations from the Industrial Revolution.

Guy says the first challenge was how to make a cup of tea:
