Conor hopes to race this season

by isleofman.com 19th February 2011

Conor Cummins is well on the road to recovery after his serious crash in last year's Senior TT.

The 'Ramsey Rocket' suffered multiple injuries when he came off his McAdoo Kawasaki at the Verandah, including a badly broken left arm, fractures to bones in his back, a dislocated knee with ligament damage, bruising to his lungs and a hairline fracture to his pelvis.

He has undergone several operations over the past eight months and has rarely been seen outside hospital without crutches.

But Conor is now building up his strength, through cycling and exercise in the gymn, and says with lots of help and hard work he is gradually getting back to full fitness (first part of audio file):

Conor hopes if all goes well he will be racing again this season (second part of audio file):
