Department works to reduce overtime bill

Director of Public Transport Ian Longworth says negotiations are continuing on changing working practices for bus drivers in the Isle of Man.

Currently Sunday working is classed as overtime which, along with similar payments to vintage railway staff, has cost the Department of Community, Culture and Leisure ?3.2 million in the last two years.
