The St John Ambulance is looking for people to support one of the Island's emergency services.
Under the First Responders Scheme trained first aiders are sent to emergency incidents when 999 calls have been made.
There are currently 25 such people around the Island, and they are considered particularly useful in reaching those who have had an accident or been taken ill in rural areas.
Another training programme is due to start at the end of April, with assessments carried out by the ambulance service.
