MHK criticised for 'presumption' in question

Tynwald questions were dominated by one subject today (Wednesday).

Community, Culture and Leisure Minister David Cretney was grilled at length about the possibility of job cuts in his department.

During the 55 minutes it took to answer North Douglas MHK Bill Henderson's 13 questions on the issue, David Cretney announced the management structure of the Public Transport Division would be independently reviewed.

Mr Cretney also took issue with the wording of one of Mr Henderson's questions, which asked, 'who conducted the staffing review that culminated in the 22 redundancies at the MER and Steam Railways':
