10 pin bowling complex to be open for Easter

by isleofman.com 16th February 2011

THE new 10 pin bowling and leisure centre in Ramsey will be open for Easter.

Alan Price, of Buffalo Bowling and Leisure - the company transforming the former swimming pool on Queens Promenade - confirmed the news to Ramsey Commissioners during a recent site inspection.

Ramsey Commissioners' chairman Captain Nigel Malpass said: "The Commissioners are delighted that the project is now on target for an Easter opening, especially given that with the additional Bank Holiday to celebrate the Royal Wedding there will be extended opportunities for people Island-wide to come to Ramsey and benefit from what we are confident will become a major leisure attraction.

"Buffalo Bowling and Leisure's investment in this project together with the support of Sure Isle of Man are unequivocal votes of confidence in the future of Ramsey and we wish the venture every success."

Membership packs and details of special opening offers are available from the complex's foyer Monday to Saturday from 10am to 5pm.
