iMuseum prize in genealogy draw

by isleofman.com 15th February 2011

Three Manx institutions have joined forces to launch a competition offering people a chance to find out more about their Manx roots.

Isle of Man Stamps and Coins has issued a new set of stamps featuring the most popular Manx surnames from the 1891 census.

It has also joined forces with the Isle of Man Family History Society and Manx National Heritage to hold a draw which will see someone win a day of genealogical research at the iMuseum, the Island's digital museum which is due to open in March.

Entry forms are available from post offices, the Manx Museum and the House of Manannan.
