Manufacturing sector highlighted in Budget speech

Treasury Minister Anne Craine MHK highlighted the growth of the manufacturing sector in the Isle of Man during her Budget speech.

She told Tynwald earlier today (Tuesday): "From a manufacturing sector employing around 3,000 people we have seen double digit growth rates and contributions to major projects such as the Airbus A380 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner 'super-jumbo' aircraft."
