Police have issued a photograph of 44-year-old Mark Carl Green, who died outside his home, in Hillside Avenue, Douglas, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A teenager appeared at Douglas courthouse today (Monday), accused of Mr Green's manslaughter.
Ryan James Oakey, 19, of Wesley Terrace in Douglas, is also charged with affray and making threats to kill.
He was remanded in custody until February 22 and there was no application for bail.
Reporting restrictions were not lifted.
