A 19-year-old man appeared at Douglas courthouse today (Monday), accused of manslaughter.
Ryan James Oakey, of Wesley Terrace in Douglas, is charged in connection with the death of 44-year-old Mark Carl Green in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Mr Green died outside his home, a short distance from Wesley Terrace.
Mr Oakey also faces charges of affray and making threats to kill.
There was no application for bail and reporting restrictions were not lifted.
Mr Oakey was remanded in custody until February 22.
