GRITTY crime drama Harry Brown (cert 18) will be screened at the Centenary Centre in Peel on Wednesday, February 23.
Michael Caine plays Harry, a reluctant vigilante out to avenge the ruthless killing of his friend and chess partner, Leonard.
Caine is convincing as the ex-Royal Marine and Northern Ireland veteran who, sickened by the behaviour of local gangs, decides to take the law into his own hands.
The storyline has echoes of the 2008 Clint Eastwood film Gran Torino.
This is the film's first showing on a big screen in the Isle of Man and it starts at 7.45pm.
It is part of the Films in Peel programme.
Tickets are £4 (or £3 concessions) and are available from Celtic Gold in Peel.
