Holders St George's eased into the last eight in the Cu-Plas Manx FA Cup, with an emphatic 9-0 away win against second division Braddan.

Chris Bass junior opened the scoring with a penalty early on, and two more goals from Frank Jones made it 3-0 before half-time. Any hope Braddan might have had of salvaging anything was completely dashed when centre back Shane Larkin was sent off for deliberate handball. Referee Scott Campion awarded a penalty which was duly dispatched by Bass, who sent Braddan keeper Shane Larkin the wrong way. Two minutes into the second half Keiran McNulty scored to make it 5-0, Sam Caine added a six on 66 minutes, and Bass completed his hat-trick soon after. Jones joined Bass on three goals with 20 minutes to go, and Isle of Man national team captain Sean Quaye got the ninth in the final minute.

Premier League side Laxey killed off Second Division Foxdale in the first half, during which they scored all three of their goals. Ashley Webster got the first, and there were further strikes from Darran Hudgeon and 2010 football writers' Player of the Year Jim Travers.

Second Division Onchan played host to Premier League St Mary's at the Nivision Stadium, and went down 4-1. The scorers for the visitors were Tom Weir, Martin Riley and second half substitute Stephen Priestnal, who grabbed a brace. Michael Spencer was on target for Onchan just before the break.

JCK Division Two runaway leaders St John's beat their closest rivals Union Mills 2-0, with a goal in each half. The scorers were new signings Stephen Glover and player manager Nick Hurt.

The quarter-final draw had to be made for a second time, after Ramsey were accidentally included in the last eight in place of Castletown, but there was no doubting the tie of the round once the glitch had been overcome. Premier League leaders Old Boys, who won 6-1 at Michael to go three points clear at the top, were paired with cup holders St George's.

The quarter-final ties will kick-off at 2pm on Saturday, March 5, and the names came out of the hat in the following order:
