Anderson receives keys to medical centre

A new medical centre is almost ready to welcome patients in the west of the Island.

Keys to the newly built premises, next to the Corrin Memorial Home in Peel, were handed over by contractors to Health Minister David Anderson yesterday (Friday).

The old Peel Medical Centre will now be converted into headquarters for the Western Neighbourhood Policing Team.

Mr Anderson told Granada Reports finding a suitable site for the Peel Group Practice was a long, slow process:
