The Isle of Man branch of the Society of Recorder Players has an open day in Ramsey today (Saturday), where anyone can try out a wide range of woodwind instruments.

There will be music to listen to, and players of any standard are welcome to join in with some of the pieces.

The society's secretary on the Island is Marilyn Cullen (play audio file):

The open day is at Quayle's Hall, for two hours from 3pm.
