Big local clash in rugby

by isleofman.com 12th February 2011

Douglas and Ramsey clash in South Lancashire and Cheshire Division Two at Port-ee-Chee this afternoon (Saturday).

The league game earlier in the season was a little one-sided with the notherners claiming a 29-5 victory.

However, Douglas will be full of confidence after an excellent 18-15 success against promotion chasing Dukinfield last weekend.

In Football, there's a second attempt to play the four FA Cup 1st Round ties, which were postponed a week ago. Holders St George's make the short journey to neighbours Braddan.

Old Boys have the chance to go top of the Premier League if they manage a win at Michael, and in hockey it's week three of the mixed season, with Premier League table-toppers Vikings A taking on newly promoted Celts.
