Peel shop burglary update

by isleofman.com 11th February 2011

POLICE have issued an update on the burglary at Gayle's Fare in Peel this morning (Friday).

They want to speak to the driver of a red car which travelled up Peveril Road, Peel, towards the Headlands at around 6am.

The vehicle is believed to have been in front of a small white van which may have been used in the burglary at Gayle's Fayre.

PC Darren Loader said: "If you own a red motor vehicle and were travelling up Peveril Road at that time, maybe with a white van following you, can you please contact the police on 631212 as you may have valuable information.

"Property linked to Gale's Fayre was recovered at Ballaugh Glen at 2pm today. If you were in the Ballaugh area between 6am and 2pm today and saw a white van or anyone else acting suspiciously I would ask you to come forward as a matter of urgency."
