POLICE are investigating after a charity box was stolen from the Villa Marina.

The box was taken off the reception desk and the contents emptied on the ground near the Bowling Green.

A number of one pence pieces and two pence pieces were left but all money of a higher value was stolen.

The theft is believed to have taken place between Sunday, February 6 and Wednesday, February 9.
