Will Cav go for glory on fourth stage?

by isleofman.com 10th February 2011

It's the fourth and penultimate stage of the Tour of Qatar today (Thursday).

It remains to be seen whether Mark Cavendish will be going for the win, or if he will be asked to help team-mate Mark Renshaw in his quest for overall victory.

Renshaw lies just four seconds behind leader Heinrich Haussler.

Today, the riders start in the northern suburbs of the capital Doha at West Bay Lagoon, and head north along the coast. They then return south, almost doubling back on themselves, finishing the stage at Al Kharaitiyat.

The distance to be travelled today is 153.5 kilometres.
