ADRIAN Tinkler has been selected as the Liberal Vannin candidate for Rushen in the forthcoming general election.

He is a Chartered Secretary and Chartered Insurance Practitioner with more than 20 years experience working in the Isle of Man financial services sector and has served as a Rushen Parish Commissioner since 2001.

He is also involved with a number of Manx registered charities including the Manx Foundation for the Physically Disabled and the Down Syndrome Group.

Liberal Vannin Party Leader Peter Karran MHK said: "I am impressed with Adrian's business and finance acumen and that, coupled with his caring personality, makes him an ideal candidate."

The House of Keys election takes place on September 29.
