Police investigate street light collapse

POLICE are investigating after a street light collapsed in Douglas.

 

The street light, located on South Quay next to the lifting bridge, was damaged in the early hours of yesterday morning (Sunday).

 

Police say the damage appears to have been caused by a vehicle and have asked the driver, or anyone who witnessed the incident, to contact PC Sam Cannell at Lord Street Police Station on 01624 631212.
