Workers at the Island's steam railway are vowing to fight proposals to cut the in-house workforce.
In the House of Keys this week, Leisure Minister David Cretney confirmed 22 jobs in the Transport Division are under threat.
That could see craftsmen and maintenance workers based at Banks Circus in Douglas replaced by outside contractors.
Track supervisor Selwyn Morgan is among those whose job may go.
He says staff will protest through the public sector pay body Whitley Council, and campaign through their unions.
Mr Morgan says the loss of a team built up over many years, could spell bad news for the railway's future success:
