There is still a vacancy on the board of Lezayre Parish Commissioners.

No one had come forward when nominations for a possible election closed yesterday (Wednesday) afternoon.

The local authority hopes to re-advertise the seat in the near future.

Anyone who took up the position would sit on the board until April next year.
